·    As you see lather forming, you can either pick it with a wet clean cotton cloth or rinse it under water if it is a corner of the carpet. Repeat the process until you see the area regaining its original color and texture.
·    Vacuum it nicely and voila! You are rid of pet stains and odor removal has also been accomplished. If you are not sure about the odor, just put a few drops of your favorite essential oil in water and transfer it to a spray bottle. Spray the mixture all over the carpet and let it rest for a while. Vacuum it dry and you have a brand new and fragrant carpet to flaunt again!
